Youth Visit Pottstown Salvation Army

The Grace & Peace youth brought a whole bin of socks to the Pottstown Salvation Army on Sunday evening.

Janet Clarke of the Salvation Army provided a tour of the facilities and an explanation of the Salvation Army’s history. The youth brought their sock collection to their shelter. One lady who was there came and received socks for herself and her two girls. The 13 students left the socks for those who could use a new pair in the future.
It was a blessing to the residents and will continue to be as more can receive socks as they need.
Thank you to all you donated socks to the youth group’s socktober collection.
